Tina, do not know location in Quebec. In biography of Hiram Wilson Renne
(History of Clark Co., Wisc...1918), it states his father, Henry Renne born
in N.Y.S., on the Hudson River (b. 1803 Essex Co., N.Y.,) son of John Renne
( b. 1780)who came to that location from Canada (Quebec). John Renne had
brother Samuel b. abt. 1760 who operated a ferry business in 1820 in
Addison, Vermont and a brother Richard of whom we have no information.
Other brothers of John Renne were James, Stephen and Peter Renne. Thank
you so very much. Phyllis
