There have been extensive writings about the Mannikin town settlement.
A cousin just sent me copies from yet another book. And, interestingly
enough, a variety of other books, such as the Scotch-Irish settlement
books mention the French.
I'll dig out my notes tomorrow and list a variety of books to read on
the topic.
