Hi Edna,
I'm curious in what way this would qualify for Daughters of the American
Revolution. Didn't the ancestor have to have fought in the War of have given
public assistance? I have never checked into Daughters of the American
Revolution so I'm not too familiar with it and what it takes to join.

I enjoy finding Micajah because it just reminds what our ancestors were
really about. They weren't "just" farmers. They had a hand in building and
shaping our country. We may not agree with everything they did but they
should be commended none the less.

Just plain old determination, good eyeglasses and a good magnifying glass!!
It can be a chore sometimes but is generally worth the effort.

Thank you for your comments.
