WHITE HALL --- James William McAllister, 75, of White Hall, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital.

A native of White Hall, he was a son of the late James G. and Mary Susan Via McAllister.

Surviving are one sister, Miss Mert McAllister of White Hall; three brothers, Charles McAllister of Crimora, Cecil McAllister of White Hall and Richard McAllister of Waynesboro.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Anderson Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Clark, with interment in the family cemetery in White Hall.

The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the heart fund Charlottesville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in the funeral home.
