I have checked _Abstracts of Augusta County, Virginia Death Registers
1853-1896_; Margaret C. Reese, Waynesboro, Virginia, 1983; Iberian Publ
Co, Athens, Ga. Here's the entries for VIA:

p.1242 listings for infants WM, both born 16 Dec 1871
David, WM, 25 Apr 1857 age 67
Lula V., WF, 2 Nov 1894 age 14
Margaret E., WF, 16 Nov 1877 age 19 yrs 6m 16d
Mary, WF, 16 Dec 1871 age 28
p. 228Benjamin F., WM, 27 Aug 1885 age 60
Lena Bell, WF, 7 Apr 1887 2 yrs 1 mo.
Moses, WM, 10 Apr 1884 1yr 6mo.
No other spellings listed.

I guess William and Nancy slipped through the cracks. They are not in
the 1860 & 1870 Mortality schedules either, but I haven't checked the
original death records as yet.
