I use McAffee - its been 3 years now - no problems. Once a DAT file got the
wrong path assigned and I changed it when my system would not start , I used
XTGOLD and it took a sec or two, I re set the path in the system start and
its been ok since.
I also run Secure cast - any one who has it knows what it doe's .
When I run Norton I lost my hard drive 2 times because it (innoculated) the
wrong files it happened several times to lock me up but onlyt 2 that I could
not recouver. I spose it better now that it was 4 years back. But I like
McAffee just the same
Guess its just the dif between the Chevy and the Ford, only the user
knows why he/she swears by a product , so its not an argument, just a
preferance , try one , then the other to learn , guess thats why they put
out the share ware <G>
