Hi Folks,
I also downloaded 'Optout' and found the 'ad' files on my machine. I then
followed a link to 'Zone Alarm' which is a beta version of a fire wall -
free at the moment because it is not too stable - which has shown me that
each time I have logged on to the web for the last 2 years !!! a company
that will for the moment remain nameless has known I am using their
product.
It fires off a 'ping' each time I logon.
