Correct about the subject line =
A digest in OE might look like and attachment ,
but is only a collection of e-mails,
it must be approved to open if we have out security set right
then it will simply look like a bunch of individual emails ,
I get several list as digest , no problem with these
, and they do show a paper clip ,
it only means they have to be opened .
We see the sig card as a little file index icon ,
HTML can be sent as plain text to a mail list / but (only) in a plain text
e-mail /
But I was also told that the lists that are set to (reply to sender)
the mail dont go through rootsweb filters
like a list set to (reply to list) so those e-mails are not filtered as
well /
I think the problems people are having is relating the attachments
to a list
and are getting them in private mail ,
but some FWDs to a list will show a paperclip
but it is only the included message ,
there is no attachment /
I have never seen an attachment *ever* on a rootsweb list
and I run 16 , and on a lot more <G>
nor have I ever seen *LIVE HTML* on a list mailing from (ANY) rootsweb list
