No way to get around it - as far as I know [am very interested in
learning more about this 'CookiePal' 'though.]
but it lets you know just how many ads are on some of these
sites.
Granted it's a hassle to have to keep hitting the 'no' but in this
way, your computer stays free of these nasty 'cookies' some of which 'call
home' to report where you've been - and doubleclick.com not only does this
but sells your e-mail to others. And they have been threatened with law
suits for their illegal behaviour; but not being in the US, there's not much
our courts can do about them. Same thing is true with these hackers who
devise all these viruses; if they're within the US, they may be caught and
prosecuted [some have been] but when they're out of our reach, they are out
of our reach.
It's a sad commentary on today's society.
Maybe someone will have a niftier way to operate -
Sure would be interested in hearing from someone(s) with a
program which can avoid these ad-cookies entering the computer and at the
same time avoid the hassle of hitting the 'no' on their pop-ups, over and
over ... .
Looking forward to future discussion on this -
