DEATH TAKES ELLIS PARRY.

Retired Vergennes Druggist, 69, Was Past President of Pharmaceutical
Association.

July 28--Ellis B. Parry, 69, retired Vergennes (Vt) druggist and past
president of the vermont State Pharmaceutical Association, died suddenly
today at his summer home on Lake Champlain. A former resident of
Poultney, Vt., Mr.Parry was born in South Poultney, Vt., son of Mr. and
Mrs. C. W. Parry.For many years he was a clerk in Owen-McShane's drug
store in Poultney.From 1924 to 1945, he was owner and operator in the
Timothy Neville Drug Store in Vergennes, Vt. He retired in 1945.
He was past president of the Vergennes Rotary Club, a past grand patron
of the Order of Eastern Star, a trustee of the Ripley Memorial Library
in Vergennes,and an active member of the Vergennes Congregational Church
for several years.
Mr. Parry is survived by his wife, the former Clara Low of Vergennes ;
two sisters, Mrs. Ella Hughes and Miss Florence Parry, both of
Albany,N.Y.; a brother, John C. Parry of Hartford, Conn., and nieces and
nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Vergennes
Congregational Church.Burial will be in Vergennes.
