Miss Julia Manley has returned to her home here after a month's visit in
Springfield, Mass.
Misses Queenie, Emory and Prutia Weir of Rutland visited friends in town
Tuesday.
Miss Anne Stotts of Boston is the guest of Mrs. W. S. Humphrey.
The dance which was to have been given by the senior class of the
Pittsford high school Friday evening, the 21st, has been indefinitely
postponed.
Miss Emmeline Dutelle is spending a few days with Miss Queenie Weir at
Rutland.
A daughter was born Wednesday at Fowler to Mr. and Mrs. Orson Humphrey
of West Rutland. Mrs. Humphrey is with her parents,Mr.and Mrs. C. E.
Senecal.
Mrs. Lucy Hudson of Pittsford Mills is visiting her son, C. L. Hudson at
Bennington.
Several from here attended the football game in Proctor yesterday.
Dan Burditt, jr.,from the Vermont academy, Saxtons River, is at his home
here for a few days.
Owing to the large quantity of apples this year, the one cider mill in
town, owned by the Howland Brothers, is doing a large business. Thus far
almost 500 barrels of cider have been made and business is still
booming. The price of apples is still very low and promises to remain
so.
