Thank you! The Gile family associated with Mount Holly was Moses Gile b. 1720 Haverhill, MA, arriving in VT at Chester in 1770.
"Index to Deeds for Mt. Holly, VT, 1792 through 1818, FHL film #28522, lists the children of Moses - Moses, Amos, Betsey, James, Gardner, William and Melinda." Son Moses moved to Mt. Holly in 1796.
