Were there any newspapers that might provide an obituary in Windham County in 1840?  I have 
Catherine Wells
died Nov. 14, 1840 at age 77 years and is buried in the Athens Valley Cemetery
Lot #XVII, Windham Co.,VT.  I need to know if she had any children.Thanks, Margie

I am looking for an obit for Lily Welch born 24 Oct 1897 in Wales and died in Apr 1977 in Bellow Falls Windham Vermont according to the Soc. Sec. death index.  I am looking for any information on children or other relatives.  She had a daughter named Daisy but believe that might be a nickname rather than given name.  Any information that you can give me would be appreciated.  Her husband's name was John but I have no other information.
