Some of mine also got the grants. They were from MA and then after the
Revolution went to New Hampshire and then VT became a state so they lived in
Windsor County VT. My grandfather was born in Rutland VT and came west with the
railroad. Some of my names are Bolster, Read, Rogers, Cox, Heald/Hale, and a
few others also. Many of them got a "bounty" for serving in the Revolution.
That helped to pay their way north to the Hampshire Grants. I also hae a
book "The Bolster Family of Londonderry and Weston, VT" that was written by my
uncle who stayed in VT. It is indexed also if anybody wants me to check a
