I’m looking for information on any of the following people. Arzanious (A.Z.) Mullins – born March 1847 in Kentucky and Ellen Hunt – born abt 1866 born in TX or AR were married on Sep. 29, 1889 in Coalhill, Johnson county Arkansas. They moved to Oklahoma where they had there two children. There son was William Grover Cleveland Mullins (he was my grandfather) born Dec. 25 1892 in Indian Territory Oklahoma. Cleveland Mullins is listed with his first wife in the 1920 Socorro county, New San Marcil, New Mexico census with his wife Minerva and daughters Lillian and Jossie J. Minerva birth would be abt. 1898 in NM. Lillian’s birth about 1916 NM, and Jossie J. birth abt. 1918 NM. Cleveland Mullins birth was Dec. 25 1892 Oklahoma. He was listed in the Potter County, Amarillo Texas directory in 1920 also with his mother, Ellen Mullins. He was in New Mexico in 1910. So he may have moved there and then moved back. By 1930 Cleveland Mullins was in Washin!
gton state with a new wife (his second) Stella (middle name might be Irene) and her two sons Lawrence and Kenneth Davidson. His daughters from his first wife weren’t listed. Later he married my grandmother in WA (his third and final wife) Nellie Taylor. And he died in Oregon.
William Grover Cleveland Mullins had a sister named Mattie May Mullins (born June 24, 1897- died Feb. 22 1959) she is shown in the 1920 Potter County Texas census married to Samar or Lamar Riley and sons Elmer Riley (b-abt. 1918) and Marvin Riley (b abt-1920). Later she married Matt E. Dixon and he adopted the boys (Elmer and Marvin) and they are shown in the 1930 Cowlitz County Washington census.
Arzanious, Ellen, Cleveland and Mattie all lived on a homestead in 1910 in Torrance county NM. I believe that Arzanious died there sometime between 1913-1920.
I have more information, documentation and photos on this family at my website www.invudesigns.com/mullins
