It's so nice to read all of these Waddell stories - glad to get to 'know'
you all. I don't know much about the Waddell history, but I'm learning a
lot from this list. My husband was born 'Baby Boy Waddell' thirty-one years
ago in Los Angeles, California. Our paperwork shows his mother as being 24
years old, 5'7", working in the clerical field with an interest in
drafting, sewing, and reading. He was put up for adoption and taken home by
a wonderful family. We have recently began searching for his ancestry.
Needless to say I have some bones to pick with the adoption process and
it's (ill)legal way of doing things. I've found it nearly impossible to
find anything without a name and the current laws make it almost immposible
to get a name without a court order (which takes a miracle in itself). But
I had an offer from a wonderful person (on this list) in California who is
going to do some hands on searching for me in early 1999. I can't wait to
get some information back and help my husband to connect with his roots.
