My great-grandmother was Ellen Augusta STEVENS (do not know her birthdate or
place); she married James Louis PHIPPS ( do not know his birthdate or place
either)
Their children were: Mary Ellen (my grandmother) b. 1907 in Wenatchee WA,
Burton, Clarence, Harold, Gladys, Benjamin Louis.
My grandmother, Mary Ellen married James Oliver Whitehall b. 1904 in Farmer,
WA, whose children were James Louis WHITEHALL (my father) b. 1930 in
Wenatchee, WA and Jeanine WHITEHALL.
James Oliver's parents were Nicolas Clark WHITEHALL b. 1864 in IL and Ella
BADGER b. 1868 in IN who brought their family here from IA in abt 1897.
