Looking for info on my ggrandparents: Jeremiah? and Florence Edna(Dillon) Schamehorn, and Francisco and Sarah Elinor(Shreve) Dillon. All are buried in the Elma area. Francisco and Sarah were in the area for a long while, and Florence was born there along with at least one brother, Charles. Jeremiah is one big brick wall. I'm not sure when he came to Elma, or from where, I'm not even certain of his name! He and Florence had at least 7 children born between 1909-1926. I have the burial information on them all, but would like to know if anyone else is researching these lines, and any more info on Jeremiah. The Schamehorn children were:
Eugene Victor- b.1909 m.Nellie? d. 1995 in CA
Rodney Brooks-b.1914 m.Evelyn? d.1990 in CA
Richard Daniel-b. 1917 d.1990 in CA
William Neil-b.1923 m.Mayzella d.1982 in OR
Suzanne Evangeline(my grandmother)b.1925 m.Lambert d.1982 in OR
there were also
Lyle- d.1926 in WA
Juanita - nothing known
and possibly a Jack. Jeremiah "Jack" Schamehorn was buried in the Olympia-Tumwater IOOF Cemetery in 1960 at age 57. I was told the husbands name was Jeremiah, but this had to have been a child.
If anyone has any info on these lines, I would love to hear from you. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
