Good morning, Read your Wakefield query and would like to know if you have
run into a Robert Wakefield of New Jersey (according to his application for a
Texas land grant). He married Elizabeth Cowan and their only child was
William Uzzell Wakefield, born in Pa. I can't find a trace of Robert and
Elizabeth before and after they went to Texas 1832. I do have Wm. Uzzell
documented down to me. Would appreciate any help you may be able to give me.
I have tried to tie them into the MD. group but no luck so far.
