I recently requested a search of the Kitsap County Courthouse for a marriage
that should have occurred 1918 though 1920. I was told that there wasn't a
marriage certificate found in Kitsap County, but that if the couple applied
for their marriage license in another county other than Kitsap, then Vital
Records in Olympia might be able to help.

Is this correct? I was under the impression that Vital Statistics in
Olympia didn't have these records prior to 1968.

Any information would certainly be appreciated.
