I have found a message sent to this board by Elizabeth Hessan in Feb 2002.
I think the Elizabeth BELLAMY refered to might be my grandfather's eldest sister.
My g father was Charles James Bellamy dob 27 July 1881. His siblings were Elizabeth ( Bessie) , Sarah Ann, Henry Charles, Susan Emma, Thomas, Frank, Alice. Parents Charles and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is 13 in 1881 and is also shown as being born in Chard Somerset.
Charles James was born too late for the 1881 census but is shown (age 9) together with Alice (age 6 ) in the 1891 census
with all his siblings except Elizabeth who at 23 had probably left home.
