I need some information on Thomas DAVIES who was married in Australia in 1874. His Marriage Cert. gives his father as Silvanas DAVIES.His children's Birth Cert. give his name as Thomas Sylvanus DAVIES and some as DAVIS.Only one gives his age and Birthplace as Cardiff,Wales about 1845.

Some kind people have looked up the 1851 Census for Glamorgan, some parts of Carmarthen and some parts of Pembroke, all without success. Every Silvanas or Sylvanus DAVIES found has either been unmarried or didn't have a son called Thomas.

I have been searching for months now and seem to have hit a brick wall.I am starting to wonder if he really existed!

I have been unable to locate his death as it isn't registered in the State where he was living. He died between 1892 and 1901.
I have also been unable to locate his entry to Australia as there were many Thomas DAVIES and none seem to fit.

If some kind person could help I would be most grateful.

Kind Regards
Annette Davis
Australia
