I hate to confuse matters, but there is another way of spelling the name
which is pronounced as 'Fanshaw' - believe it or not, it is spelled
FEATHERSTONEHAUGH - but pronounced 'Fanshaw' (or 'Fenshaw.') Odd lot, those
English! (Don't know if there is any special way it is pronounced in the
Welsh accent.)
