I'm interested in anything anyone may have on Bankson/Bankstons in Lincoln Co. I descend from Stephen D. & Jerusha Gibson Bankson's daughter Orinda Ann, who married Daniel Lewis Woods in Greene County IL Dec. 9, 1885. By May 17, 1888 they were in Wilbur, Lincoln Co. WA for the birth of their daughter Alice Viola Woods. Stephen and Jerusha were buried in the Sherman/Cresson Cemetery in Lincoln Co. in 1896. So they may have made the journey west at the same time as the Woods. Also in Lincoln Co. were Arthur C. Bankson, relationship to the others unknown, and Perry Bankson, who may be the Perry listed on various census as a child of Stephen & Jerusha. Perry was single with no children according to his will filed in 1939 in Wilbur and was leaving everything to Ellsworth E. Jones., relationship if any unknown.
