Thank you for allowing me to participate in your list. My name is Paul
Bledsoe and I and my family live in Madison Co., Alabama. I am fairly new
to genealogy, having worked on my family for about a year and a half. I am
researching the following families: Bledsoe, Sevier, Cooper, Blundell,
Swenson, Svensson, Pierce, Pearce, Walker, Waldrip, Pugh, Anding, Simms,
Clark, and Westbrook. I have traced Bledsoe back to 1635 immigration,
Sevier back to 1607 in Spain, Svensson to 1827 in Sweden, and Pearce to 1706
immigration. My wife has just begun research on her family, including Snow,
Paulk, Matthews, and Nugent.

I am looking for information on Peter Walker, who was born about 1760 in
South Carolina, married Barbara Ferguson in 1785 in Kentucky. He and his
wife had 9 or ten children, who were born in the Indian Territory of SC, TN,
and lastly in Alabama.

Their sixth child, Jesse W., was my great great great drandfather, b. Abt.
1805 in Petty Creek Area, Indian Territory, SC. I have found he and his
family in the 1850 Walker Co., TX census.

Any info on Peter Walker, his parents and siblings, as well as info on his
wife and her family would be appreciated.

All the best,

Paul
