To Christine Webb,

My Wall family originates in Waterford County, Ireland, as well. My GGGF was
Patrick Wall, who was married to Catherine Rohan. My GGF was Michael Wall,
who came to the US in the time between 1870 - 1880. He was born in 1850 and
married my GGM Ellen Green in 1881. At the time of their marraige, they lived
in New Jersey,
where all my family is from. Michael had anywhere from 5 to 10 brothers, so
it has been said, or, there were as many as (15) male cousins with the name
Wall who came to the US. I know Michael had a brother Maurice, who resided
around Phila-
delphia, PA, and a brother Thomas (T.P.) who lived in N.J. at the late
1800's.

The name Wall is very common in Waterford Co. and around Limerick. I've
written
once to a Father Michael Wall in Waterford Co., who graciously replied. In
his letter,
he informed me that there are roughly 58 Parishes in Waterford County. To
research
ones family, it is best if you know which Parish they are from. Then you can
begin your research. In Dublin, there are researchers who can provide you
this service.
Until now, I've not yet gone ahead with my further research.

If I can assist you further, let me know. Good hunting with your family
roots.

Rich Wall - Charlotte, N.C. (formerly N.J.)
