Kathy and all,

Found the following email sent earlier. It looks like Zachariah Wall with the
will dated 1 Nov. 1802 is the same Zachariah listed in the bible record
below. At least both are married to Anns. If he is then his father was Robert
not John. ???

>From the bible record, I take it that James Wall -m- Sallie Smith are the
parents of Nancy G. Wall and Joshua S. Wall, and that James is the son of
Robert. I have figured this bible record a couple of ways and am not sure I
figured it correctly. The record doesn't give the parents of Thomas Leslie
Baughn, just that he and Elizabeth are first cousins, but going by the
listing of grandparents I would guess that they are more like second cousins.
????

Since my Shadrach Wall, who died in Schley Co, Ga, was supposed to have been
born in Maryland it was of interest to me.

Zachariah WALL, I think, was from Walltown, MD or something like that.

This is what little that I know of the Anson Co. NC WALL line. This line
is written up in one of Bodie's book, at least I believe that is where I saw
it. At the time I failed to copy it as this line is so far removed away from
mine. Zachariah WALL of Anson County was from Maryland, stayed for awhile in
Anson and then settled in Rockingham Co. NC......OR ...this line of WALL's
were in Anson County (formed 1750 from Bladen Co) before Rowan County was cut
off from Anson in 1753, and then that area became Guilford Co. in 1771 and
Rockingham County in 1785. {My note..Guilford was formed from both Rowan and
Orange Co, the greatest portion from Rowan Co.}

WALL on Aug 21, 1912, married 2nd Mamie McKENZIE.

Elizabeth Fields WALL was born May 17, 1890 and died 25 Feb 1923
Parents of Elizabeth.......Who were married on April 3, 1879.
Joshua Thomas WALL, born May 26, 1845, died Aug 22, 1930 and wife Sallie
Ann ADKINS born Jan 19, 1864, died Feb 5, 1944

Grandparents of Elizabeth and her husband Thomas Leslie BAUGHN who was her
1st cousin..
Wm. R. BAUGHN and Betsy HOPPER (husband)
John HEGGIE and Nancy G. WALL (husband)
Joshua S. WALL and Caroline P. HEGGIE (wife)
James ADKINS and Sarah HALL (wife)
