When was your Thomas Wall born? Even an approximate date would help.

A search of my records (which are by no means complete) turns up one Thomas Wall, a nephew of my Scoffield Wall. He was likely born in Monroe County, but had moved to Sullivan County by 1850 with his family. He shows up on the 1850 Sullivan Co. Census living with his parents Adam & Mary Wall & his siblings Johns, Peter and Margaret. He is 14 yrs old, so this would put Thomas's birthdate around 1836. This is likely too early for your Thomas.

More info on this thomas can be found on Leslie Leighton's website at www.vamowall.com. I know I had previously found info on the Thomas listed above on her site.

If your Wall family has been in Monroe County for some time, they are LIKELY somehow linked to mine, but pretty far back in time - if we are linked, it would be likely prior to 1850. If you could find any dates, or names of family members prior to Thomas, I might be able to find out more.
