Omak, has abt. three Internet servers (televar, ncidata & pcnuthut), I know
Tonasket has at least one (sorry can't remember the name)...
Maxine was right the jobs aren't plentiful in the area. Many of the
orchards have been pulled out, with only a few replanting.
One of the mills in Omak was closed for a couple of years, the Collville
Indian Tribe has bought it and restarted it up within the last mo., they
also have another mill here, they have their on trees, so may make a go of
it.
Shopping is limited, Wenatchee is about 90 mi. from Omak or Spokane 130 mi..
The area seems to be heading toward a retirement area.
Their is alot of out door recreation here.
I've lived in Omak most of my life, it's not a bad place to live it just
depends on the person & what your interests are etc.
