While researching on the Internet, I came across a cookbook called COOKING
MADE EASY A Home Economics Course for Users of Monarch Pastry Flour by Anna
Lee Scott. Canada: Maple Leaf Mills Limited, 1947 that said the following:
"Written with the war bride in mind, these lessons cover all of the branches
of cookery that are considered most important by the majority of Canadian
women."

I was just wondering whether any of the war brides on this list ever used
this cookbook when it first came out?
