What a lot of memories the food topic brought back. No one has mentioned
sweet pickled onions, I still can't eat those. Yes the bread and butter with
peaches, perhaps it was only tinned peaches, we didn't have many fresh peaches
then. Anyway the bread and butter tasted better than any cake. And I have the
Purity cook book, almost worn out, still use it.
