HI Linda, thanks for the update! I've been so busy that I haven't checked
this email account in a few days so am just seeing this now. Do we have any
firm dates on this? And yes, there are enough war brides in the Toronto area
and certainly in the outlying areas, not to mention their sons and daughters
and grandchildren, to fill the entire building so that won't be a worry! ha,
their concern should be having enough room for them all (and tea of
course!!).

Melynda and all,
Just yesterday I received an email from Donna Cansfield's office MPP
(Toronto) that says she and Jim Brownell MPP, and Mike Colle MPP from
Citizenship and Culture (Ontario) are interested. Mr. Colle is "wondering
about having a reception at Queen's Park for the war brides."
Ms. Cansfield's office is wondering if there are enough brides in Toronto
and area who would be able to come to such an event at Queen's Park.

ATTENTION ONTARIO WARBRIDES: please let me know if you would be able to
attend such an event (date later, if there's enough interest) in Toronto. I
will keep in touch with Ms. Cansfield's office.

Linda Granfield
