Thank you all for suggestions. I will send the photo to those who ask too.
I.m very proud of my Aunt. I found her war baby daughter whom had been
adopted while researching my grandma .. My dad would have been proud of his
sister. I have left it up to my new found cousin to research her emigrating
to Canada with her new Canadian husband in 1946/7
But I would just like to know a little bit more about her service in the
war, so I can say the whole of my dads family ( brother too) were, like him
unsung heros.

Hi Kathleen:
I suggest you post your mssge also on the WorldWar2 Rootsweb site. There
are lots of people there who know about every emblem, badge, insignia, etc,
etc, ever. Some of them have scads and scads of books illustrating all of
these things and their meanings.
