My grandmother wrote this.

William Crumpton married Hannah Ward. Their son Josiah took his mother's
maiden name, as was tradition. Josiah was born around 1807

Josiah Ward married Sarah Polly Browning. They lived in Tennesse for a
while, and moved to Russell County, Ky.

Their children were William Jasper Ward, Polly Ann Ward who married John
Cundiff, Emily Ward who married George Cundiff Oct 17, 1865, Elizabeth Ward
who married Martin Booker, Gerilda Ward who died giving birth at 17,
Lettitia Ward who married John Askenhurst, Harriet Ward who married James
Polk Chapman

George Cundiff moved to Indiana.

Emily Ward was my grandmother's grandmother. My grandmother wanted to know
how she was related to Bryant Ward.

I can't find Josiah Ward or Hannah Ward anywhere. Rumor is they were
related to Bryant Ward in some way. Bryant Ward was married to Nancy
Kingfisher Ward, and we are related through one of his son's, possibly John
(Jack) Ward.

Any ideas? I am rather new to geneology. My sister-in-law is much better
at it. I am lost and turned around.
