Dear Georgina,
In the original message you will see that there were in fact 2 addresses
on the cert - one probably in column 1 (when and where born) and
possibly in column 7 (sig. description and residence of informant) and
one, I imagine, in column 6 (occupation of father). I am again assumng
the birth was registered by the mother alone. It was not unusual to put
an address with such an occupation. Maybe there was a locally well-known
institution in Poplar Rd Sparkhill at which she did her charring.
