Where WERE you, Robert, in the heady days of the 60s, when Burlington Arcade ran from New St to Stephenson St? With the newsagent at the bottom that sold Magazines the Major Outlets didn't touch? And the Burlington Restaurant at the top, which would take your 2/6 Luncheon Vouchers towards its 7/6 lunches? (with the sad lass in the corner who took the money, but you weren't allowed to pay?) (So it became Browny Blob's, Underground - or something similar, but you still had to go Downstairs.)
And Hudsons Bookshop could be reached from the cross-passage to Temple St.
