I've never heard of St Aiden's either...but...I have a
book of 19th century photos of Brum. There's a photo
of the old market hall, and Paul Taylor's shop is
right next door, selling a vast selection of carpets.
This would be approx 1900. It is in the Spiceal Street
area of the Bull Ring, opposite St Martin's church.
Now, if your source of info is handwritten, you could
be in luck!
