I can't help you with your query directly, but I have investingated some of
the (David) NEWMAN line in connection with my extended ROLLASON tree.

The 1851 Census shows that Elizabeth was living with Mathew [sic] PAYNE in
1851...

Gosford Street, Coventry... 2067, 89,7

Mathew PAYNE h = 35 SHWeaver born Coventry
Sarah PAYNE w = 29 born Wymondham, NFK
Elizabeth PAYNE dau 9 born Millford, DBY
Charles PAYNE son 4 born Derby

Hello listers, I have received such great help in the past from this list I
thought I would see if SKS could help me out with this.

My GG Grandmother Elizabeth BLAZEY was born in Milford Derby in 1841 she
is on the 1841 census with her family but not on the 1851 census. Her elder
sister Sarah was married by then to Matthew PAYNE and they weren't there
either. I have found both Sarah (widowed and living alone) and Elizabeth
(Married with chn ) on the 1881 census in Gosford Street, Coventry.

I was wondering if Elizabeth had moved with Sarah to Coventry and also if
she was really Sarah's child. She may be under the name PAYNE but she used
her BLAZEY name when she married.

I have Elizabeth BLAZEY married Charles NEWMAN 1863 Coventry from 1837
online.
She married David ROLLASON in 1889 after the death of Charles.

Sarah PAYNE (BLAZEY) was born 1822 Wymondham Norfolk
