Does anyone have the parents of Henry Washburn of Solon? In 1883 he
bought the hotel ELM HOUSE but in 1886 transferred it to brother George
E. Washburn who rechristened it the SKOWHEGAN HOUSE. Henry went to
California after the transfer. Is this the same Henry who was born
about 1814 and died 1908? 1860 census Henry had wife Mary or May,
Children: Mary P.(dates "about")1845; Jane S. 1847; Maria? 1848; Elmira
1850; and Abigail 1852. Also Polly Dinsmore, 73, in the home (wife's
mother?) this one in 1899 bought 1/2 interest in the Weston House in
Madison, so I'm suspecting the two are the same person. Any info on
