Your mssg was fowarded to me from the Washburn list administrator.
Not sure
why, but in response to your query about the War of 1812, I would
recommend
checking with the county in which he was living at the time of
entry into
the war. The local genealogical societies often have a list of the
county
men involved in the various wars.
