Sorry, Right but Wrong. Mount Vernon is the County Seat of Skagit County
and is the largest city in that county. Washington Bulb Farm, largest bulb
producer in the nation is located there, or slightly outside of town.
Anacortes is located on the water and is a tourist town of about 1 main
street. Very picturesqe. Lots of history.

I used to live and work in Mount Vernon.
