My grandfather was Hubert Terwissa (spelling?) von Scheltinga, & wondering if there is a link. He was from Sneek in Frieseland, & apparently there is a book with family list dating to 1500, written by Professor Aukes of Leeuwarden University, Netherlands. He was an English professor there (now deceased) who spoke with my cousin prior to his death. I just happened on your query about the manuscript.
