Searching for Henry (Hendrich) WALTER(S) / WATER(S) b. 1778 probably in
Sussex Co. NJ. m. Catherine KRESS /GRESS abt 1806. Children probably
born in NJ: Margaret b. 1807 and Jacob W. b. 1810. The family was in
Hamilton Twp. Northampton Co. PA from 1811 to abt 1819 where 5 children
were born. I believe the surname was changed from WATER(S) or Van de
WATER to WALTER. I have been searching for 4 years trying to find
Henry's ancestors. They may have moved into Northern NJ from NY with
the Dutch migration in the late 1600's.

Any requests for additional information will be gladly provided.

ANY information or clues on where to look will be greatly appreciated!!
