I am still trying to connect a WATSON family that I found starting in the 1850
Cherokee Co, GA census. They are living in the home of James M. HUTSON, b.
abt. 1813 in NC and his wife Mary R. S., b. abt. 1820 in TN I believe that
James' wife Mary was a WATSON and that these WATSON's found living with them
are her family. They are Amelia WATSON, age 65, born VA (probably her mother)
and Saphronia M. WATSON, age 38, born TN (probably her sister). Amelia and
Saphronia are again living with them in the 1860 Cherokee Co, GA census. This
time, it says that Amelia was born in South Carolina! In the 1870 census,
Amelia and Saphronia are living alone as James M. HUTSON and his wife Mary R.
S. had moved to Arkansas. Again Amelia is listed as born in VA. It also
looks like maybe they were living with the HUTSONs in the 1840 census.
