Benjamin Franklin Watson b 1798 Loudoun Co VA m Matilda Ball b 1802
Loudoun Co in 1817. In 1826 the Watson, Ball, and Rawlings families
et al used the Ohio River to travel to Independence Co AR (but
according to my brother they went first to Tennessee). The children
of Benjamin and Matilda were George Fulton, Isaac Vanvert, John
Coger Howard, Lewis, John Decatur b 1820, Benjamin Franklin II,
Sarah Sophronia or Saphonia, Susannah Elizabeth, Isabella Mariah,
Rachel Ann, Franklin Lafayette I, and Oliver Otho Washington Watson.
I'm wondering if this name Sophronia or Saphronia is unusual, or
might have been common-place in this particular time period.
