Does anyone out there have any information on the following WATSONs?
1. EZEKIEL WATSON, b. abt 1795, possibly in Wayne Co., N.C. d. aft 1860
m. ELIZABETH ?, b. abt 1802, N.C. He is listed on the 1850 Henry
Co. GA Census with all
children born in GA. He is listed on the 1860 Newton Co., GA Census at
Conyers. I cannot find him on the 1870 Census. Children are:
a. THOMAS W. WATSON, b. Jan. 9, 1823, Stoke Co., N.C.; d. Nov. 27,
1922, Chilton Co., AL; m. (1) MARTHA SHAW, Jan. 3, 1850, Newton
Co., GA (2)MARGARET SMOTHERMAN, Bibb Co., AL; (3) HENRY RETA
MORRIS, Chilton Co., AL. He moved to AL abt 1874.
b. VICTORIA VINA WATSON, B. ABT 1829, N. C.; m. Dec. 21, 1848,
Henry Co., GA to SIDNEY B. SHAW
c. JAMES WASHINGTON WATSON, b. Jul 10, 1830, N.C. or GA, d. Apr
14, 1912, Chilton Co., AL, m. MATILDA SHAW, abt 1856, GA
d. JOHN WATSON, b. abt 1832, m. ELIZABETH ?
e. SARAH JANE WATSON, b. Sep 15, 1837, GA, d. Feb.8, 1912, Chilton
f. MARY ANN WATSON, b. abt 1838, GA, m. Jan 1, 1854 to JUDGE W.
SHAW, Newton Co., GA. He was killed in the Civil War.

2. ALEXANDER WATSON, b. abt 1790, d. Feb. 13, 1844, Fayetteville, Talladega
Co., AL; m. (1) MARY ANN DEES, B. abt 1799, d. Nov. 6, 1842, Talladega
Co., AL (2) ELIZABETH M. HEASLET. From 1832 to 1836 he was Pastor of
Moriah Baptist Church, Butler Co., AL. From 1837 to 1843 he was Pastor
of Fort William Baptist Church, Talladega Co., AL. His obituary was
published in the "Alabama Baptist" dated March 15, 1844. Mary Ann Dees
Watson's obit was published in the "Wetumpka Argus: dated Dec. 21, 1842.
She is buried in the Fort Williams Baptist Church Cemetery, Talladega
The children of ALEXANDER WATSON and MARY ANN DEES are:
a. ELIZABETH WATSON, b. abt 1820, Monroe Co., AL, d. Dec. 1, 1861,
Autauga Co., AL; m,. JOSEPH W. LONG in Talladega Co., AL. He
was a Baptist Minister. Her obit was published inthe "Alabama
Baptist" dated Dec. 26, 1861.
b. COMFORT WATSON, m. WILLIAM KANNADA, on Sep 6, 1842, Talladega
c. MARY ANN WATSON, b. Jan 29, 1824, AL, d. May 24, 1857, Calhoun,
Arkansas; m. JAMES DAVID SNEEL on Dec. 17, 1844, Talladega Co.
d. CAROLINE MATILDA WATSON, b. Sep 26, 1828, VA. ?, d. Mar 19,
1899, m, HEPTHA BRASSELL, Sep 28, 1845, Talladega Co., AL.
e. LUCINDA WATSON

According to the obit of ALEXANDER WATSON, he was survived by eleven
children, all of them female but one. I have not been able to find the
names of the other chidren.
