Hi,

I'm new to this list and would like to mention my Watson connection.

James WATSON was born in Old Luce, Wigtown Scotland. He married Catherine ?

They had MARY in 1830. She married John HAMILTON on 7 October 1853 at
Dalbeattie Scotland. John was a sea captain and was lost at sea in 1874.
Their children moved to Australia but they didn't.

Mary had at least one brother, JAMES born in 1831 in Dalbeattie. He
married Catherine Duncan in 1865 in East Maitland NSW Australia. They had
no children. He ran the first 'bus' company in Maitland.

Any help at all would be very welcome.
