Once again putting out a request for anyone searching the same line I am. I
am at a brick wall with Cornelius Watson, b. 1828 in Ky., migrated to Mo. and
married twice. I have no siblings or parents on him - he died as a POW in
1865 in a prisoner of war camp.

I suspect he is one of three brothers (or other siblings) in Kentucky, early
1800's. Another cousin and I suspect one brother was James Watson, but we
have no proof or connection except for the fact that name continues with his
children and grandchildren (as does George W.) -- anyone with any
suggestions? I'm getting desperate.

If there is a listmember in Indianapolis, I would even plead and beg for a
favor -- retrieving papers from the cemetery where he's buried - they have a
genealogy department, and civil war records (so I heard), including family
information -- but I can't make that trip just for a few papers -- at least
not yet. When I write and request them, they send me the same information I
already have and not the family information.
