Hi List:

I'm looking for my gggrandfather, James Evans. I have almost no information
about him. He married (unknown), had a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Evans, who
was born June 29, 1860 in Hartford, Blackford Co., Indiana. According to
Sarah's obituary, he was a civil war soldier who passed during the war.

Sarah married James Mathew Watson in 1875 in Jasper Co., Missouri and had 4
children; Ben, Bert, Kathryn and Hugh McCormac Watson (my ggrandfather).
James M. Watson died around 1901; Sarah lived with her daughter and died in
Joplin, Jasper Co., Missouri in 1937. Kathryn married James Campbell,
eventually moved to Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., Ohio and died there September
7,
1979.

I'm looking for any information...this is all I have. Who was Sarah's
mother?
What is James Evans background, parents, etc.
Does this family sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for your help...
