I am a descendant of James F. Watson, b. ca. 1803 in Georgia. He is listed on the 1860 census in Walton County, FL. His wife's name was Sarah, and she was born ca. 1821 in Alabama. The children listed on the census are:
Malissa, 15
Sallie, 13
Elburt, 11 (my direct ancestor)
Elba/Eliza? 9
Green 5
Marion 2
I assume James was probably married before, but I don't have any evidence for this. Elbert married Mildred Hobbs. Does anyone know anything about this family? Thanks. Meriah
